Mother's Day

This holiday is always very special, but this year it is extremely significant. Through my life I have had what I consider to be the best mom in the world! She is the most understanding woman and is always there when I need her. My mom has stayed at home to raise us kids and put her own interests on the back burner. I love my mom more than anything. I went back to Las Vegas last weekend and the first night I got there we stayed up till 4 in the morning just talking! She is the best! I love you ma:)

This year it has become extremely evident to me what it means to be a dedicated mom. I have watched my sister become the most loving and devoted mother I have ever seen. To this day even with the passing of Gavin she still continues to be one of the best mothers ever. Linz gave up months of her life to live in Salt Lake to help her little boy. I have never seen someone with so much love. Thanks for being such an awesome mom sis! You truly are an amazing example. I love you!

Spring Break :)

WOW! I haven't written in sooo long... Well school was getting to me, and at BYU we don't get a spring break! So I decided to take my own... me and a bunch of girlfriends packed up for five days and drove down to California! We had a hotel just 100 feet from the beach in Laguna. Every day we just laid out and tanned then at night we would walk to boardwalk. The weather was gorgeous, and it was such a great get away. Vacation always makes things better :)

The first home football game was on September 1st. We played ASU and kicked their butts! Go Cougars!

80's NIGHT!!!

Thursday is the night that all of the college students in Provo look forward to. Last Thursday was my first night that I got to participate. It is 80's night at Area 51 in Salt Lake. We got our big hair, bright clothes, and crazy music out and got ready to dance the night away!

I finally made it up here :). Here are just a few pictures of my apartment in Heather Cove. It is just two blocks away from campus and I love my own little place!

College Here We Come!

Wow, I can't believe how old I already am! Haley and I headed up to BYU on August 26th in my Dad's big F250. The truck was packed!! We had the back packed with all kinds of boxes and Haley's moped. The drive was going great until about 10 miles outside of St. George. The rain hit, and EVERYTHING in the back of the truck was soaked! Haley and I tried to get the tarp over everything, but after it started flapping 2 times and the rain was not stopping we decided we'd better just run for cover!! We got to a gas station and went through all of our stuff to repack. Thankfully a man helped us fit everything back in. Haley looked at me and said "If this is what it's like to be grown up, I don't want to do it!" So much for our first day on our own!! :)
